WEEK NINE RESULTS

First off, congratulations go out to Mark and his lovely wife Tricia on the birth of this handsome fellow to your left, Asher Finn Klassen. Along with his proud Mama and Papa we'd like to congratulate fellow poolies Dr. Grampa Don Klassen and Uncle Chad Klassen. Nice work Mark!

Now, as far as results this week it was tough sledding for most poolies. Six of you tried out your four-pointers and the most anyone could muster was 8 points. Better luck next time!

Our new leader (we've all seen him before) is the East Coast sensation Grant Hilliard. Good job Grant! Unfortunately Grant used up the last of his 4-pointers and will have to do some sweet picking to hold onto that lead. It's also nice to see the Loeppky sisters showing their support for each other by tieing for 11th spot. Way to go girls!

Yeah, thanks for the props El Presidente. But why are you dragging me into the name calling? You know better than anyone if I didn't find ways to include Jerr-balls into things then he wouldn't have any friends at all. By the way, if you're talking about girls in the pool that are tied for 11th, aren't your forgetting someone?

Hmmm...good point young Loeppky, Koopie does have a lassish look to him...

Too bad your older sister doesn't have the stones to defend himself. Must be all the "medication" he's taking out there in La-La land.

Nice work Loeppkys! Good to see some chatter!

Thanks for your concern regarding my picks. Unfortunately my lovely sister has no part in my weekly blunders otherwise I might be doing a bit better.

As for your 63 day "program" (I hear El Duque whining about its length all the time!) I would suggest you use it to brush up on your spelling. I believe "shenanigans" contains the letter E. I wouldn't comment on your spelling but since I've watched El Duque butcher the English dictionary so often I'm concerned that our university system is spewing out dimwits with a degree and calling them teachers. Don't our children deserve better?

hey swatter - thanks for the congrats! we are getting used to 2 little dudes and hoping that one of them will be donning the blue and gold in years to come!

pool is heating up - and unlike some of the leaders, a few of us have yet to use our four pointers ... watch your backs because these size 13's will be climbing over them soon!

Nice work Mark!

I've been watching you and Chadwick holding onto those 4 pointers, and Eymonds lurking back there as well. Jeff Hoeppner hasn't used any either but I really don't think it would matter anyway...

Good to see you can still squeeze in some time for the Blog, unlike the other spineless weasels we have signed up.

Wait just a second, El Presidente! I've talked to several of the spineless weasels and they've told me that, contrary to your claim, they 'have' the time to contribute to the blog but are just too damn stupid to do so.

Mmmmmmmmmiiiiiiilllllllinnnnnggggtooooooooonnnnn! Hmm, that just doesn't have the same ring as AAAAAAaaaarrrrrrrgggggggooooooosssssss!

Signed,
the Koop.

By the way, El Presidente... Are you considering to repeat last year's rule amendment by allowing the 'all 4 point suicide weeks' in the last three weeks of the season?

Signed,
the Koop.

Hmmmm......

Seeing as the pool was always fixed those weeks really didn't mean a whole lot, did they.

Maybe with this new "kinder, gentler" regime the idea might just work.

Opinions anyone?

Oh yeah, I forgot. Most poolies don't give a rat's patootie about the Blog.

Millington! Millington! Milling....

Huh? Is that the new superstar getting man-handled by the trainer?

Good thing the boys in Blue pulled that one out (thanks Bashir!) otherwise the TO in TOronto would revise itself into TO for TOurnovers!

El Presidente

p.s. Hey Koop, still loaded?

p.s. (again) Good luck Fagan!

Yeah... still loaded!

P.S. Grantster: got a problem with me? You call your son at the game and tell him to say hi to Dan, but not the Koop?! Is it because I'm stuck in the middle of the pack while you and Roberts enjoy the high life at the top of the standings? Just remember who saved your son's life at Grey Cup! (Okay, so it was both Dan and I... and yeah, we didn't technically "save" his life... But still, Kevin would have had a hard time getting home on his own you know!)

Signed, .... oh shit, I did that part already... forget it.
