IT'S A BOY!!!
Just a quick note to inform all you poolies that as of yesterday morning El Presidente is now a daddy!
Jacob Abram Sawatzky was born at 1:42 AM yesterday morning and both he and his Mom Cindy are doing fine. Her only regret was that at the time of his birth she was languishing at the bottom of the Pool (a dubious distinction she vows to correct!)
We immediately knew he would do fine in this world because of his above-average intelligence. How did we know he was smart, you ask? Because he's already started talking! He looked me in the eyes, crinkled up his little baby lips and whispered, "Argos suck!"

El Swatter, I don't really see the relevance of your reproductive life to this CFL pool. Maybe you should start some other blog of your own where you can put up pictures of your kid and document his first fart and other exciting events.

dan, as much as i applaud you for your cheering of the home team, when the rubber hits the road, and the bombers come to town - where is the allegiance? i am guessing there is still enough perogies and cheese nips surging through those veins of yours, and that your blue and gold still come first!
i can't disgree with your choice in teams - i have also been brought over to the darkside and cheer for the double blue in the east. love their defence, love geriatics allen, and spitty and punchy. but, i will always be blue and gold!
that is why i am pulling for the perfect season - 0-18 baby!!! here we come!!!

Who picked the Bombers this week, raise your hands! Yeah! Not many! But I got drawn back into the fold after suffering some fairly scathing attacks from the True Blue Believers at last Fridays game. Any CFL poolies interested in catching Bomber games you're welcome in Altona's season ticket longe, known as Section El. Games rotate a bit but check-in if you're ever in Southern MB.
